بدأت قوقل تطلق في أمريكا أداة Universal Cart، وهي سلة تسوّق وحدة تجمع فيها منتجات من متاجر مختلفة، حسب ذا فيرج. وكانت قوقل عرضتها أول مرة في مؤتمر I/O في مايو.
الأداة تشتغل الحين في تطبيق Gemini وفي وضع AI Mode في بحث قوقل، وأي منتج تضيفه من أي مكان فيهم ينحفظ في نفس السلة. وقوقل ناوية تربطها مع Gmail و YouTube، بس ما حددت موعد.
وش تسوي لك؟ تنبهك لو نزل سعر منتج أو رجع متوفر، فما تحتاج تدخل كل متجر بنفسك، وتعرض لك أكواد الخصم اللي تلقاها. وتقدر تدفع عن طريق Google Wallet، أو تنقل المنتجات لسلة المتجر نفسه وتكمّل الشراء عنده. ومع Google Wallet تحلل مزايا بطاقاتك وتقترح لك الأنسب للدفع.
وحسب العرض التوضيحي، شكلك ما تقدر تدفع لأكثر من متجر بنفس الوقت.
والمنافسة حامية: OpenAI و ميتا أطلقوا مساعدين يتسوّقون بالنيابة عنك، و Shopify فتحت منصتها لوكلاء الذكاء الاصطناعي. والأداة حاليًا في أمريكا فقط.
Google began rolling out Universal Cart in the US, a single shopping cart that collects products from different retailers, according to The Verge. Google first previewed it at I/O in May.
It works in the Gemini app and Google Search's AI Mode, and anything you add from either is saved to the same cart. Google plans to bring it to Gmail and YouTube but hasn't given a timeline.
What it does: it alerts you to price drops and restocks so you don't have to check each store, and shows promo codes it finds. You can pay with Google Wallet or move items to the retailer's own cart to check out there. With Google Wallet, it can also weigh your cards' perks and suggest the best one to pay with.
Based on Google's demo, it appears you can't check out from multiple retailers at once.
Competition is heating up: OpenAI and Meta have launched assistants that shop for you, and Shopify opened its platform to AI agents. For now, the tool is US-only.
